Position Summary

Prepare, oversee and sustain the FAA Part 135 certification for Deuce Drone's sUAS and UAS package delivery service and operations in the United States market. This includes working with and maintaining a strong, positive relationship with the FAA, leading a team, including the Chief RPIC and tech writers and partnering with the rest of the Deuce Drone development team to ensure compliance with the regulations and internal policies to deliver on safety, quality, and community impact standards, as well as any other requirements as may be established.

Be able to support expansion globally through familiarity of other regulatory organizations including but not limited to EASA, CAAC, IACO, etc.

Essential Functions

Part 135 interaction with FAA
Technical publication writing
Internal compliance leadership
Training program leadership
Internal compliance program development and oversight

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Technical Discipline
10 years experience leading a Part 135 compliance program
5 years experience with a Part 135 operation
Experience filing and obtaining a Part 135 certification for charter service, delivery operation or airline

Working Environment and Conditions

Office environment
Travel required
Remote work is a possibility at least in the first year
