At Commercial UAV Expo Americas 2019, the Drone Industry Visionaries Panel Discussion featured some of the top names from the biggest companies in the drone space talking through everything from Remote ID to urban air mobility (UAM) to what's going to define the drone industry in 2020 and beyond. Michael Blades from Frost & Sullivan moderated a panel that featured Joshua Ziering from Kittyhawk, David Hose from AirMap, Jesse Kallman from Airbus Aerial, Marc Kegelaers from Unifly and Greg Davis from Overwatch Imaging discussing all of these topics and more.

We caught up with Joshua, Founder of Kittyhawk, to talk through some of the insights that he shared on stage. His company has made some notable announcements this year that include releasing an improved version of B4UFLY UAS app as well as a resource that explains what Remote ID is and how it will define the future of the airspace. We talked with him about these topics as well as what he's looking forward to seeing come together in the drone space in the short and long term.
