During the 2017 Commercial UAV Expo, HAZON Solutions and PrecisionHawk announced the details associated with a partnership that will see the companies integrate their technologies to ensure organizations in a variety of industries are able to adopt drone technology in a safe and reliable fashion. Starting in early November PrecisionHawk’s Low Altitude Traffic and Airspace Safety (“LATAS”) platform will be accessible within the HAZON drone fleet management software, HAZON Drone Management System (“DMS”).
We caught up with Shawn Wilson, Business Development, Energy, for PrecisionHawk as well as Ed Hine, Vice President, BD and Marketing at HAZON, to further explore some of these details. They discussed why this partnership makes sense from the perspective of both companies, how the concept of safety when it comes to utilizing a drone has evolved, what impact this agreement will have on both companies moving forward and plenty more.To learn about more announcements and updates from Commercial UAV Expo 2017, click here.
