Inspired Flight Technologies has introduced a new ground control station called the GS-ONE. The handheld controller is aimed at drone operators performing field operations in commercial, industrial, and government sectors. A press release from Inspired Flight explained that the GS-ONE was designed to integrate with the company’s IF800 Tomcat and IF1200 UAS platforms.

The system includes a “glove-compatible 7” touchscreen” with 2,000 NIT brightness that delivers “a sunlight-readable experience in even the most challenging outdoor environments.”

Other features of the GS-ONE include:

  • NDAA-compliant 2.4 GHz radio with up to 6 miles of range
  • Hot-swappable batteries providing up to 5 hours of continuous runtime
  • Advanced connectivity: LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Ethernet, HDMI, and USB
  • Programmable buttons for real-time geolocation and customization
  • IP55-rated rugged enclosure for durability in diverse field conditions
  • Running Android 14 and powered by a Qualcomm QCS6490 processor, GS-ONE features 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, delivering responsive performance across Inspired Ground Control and third-party apps.
