FlybyOps announced this week that it has launched an enterprise drone operations platform aimed at helping organizations manage the operational and compliance demands of scaling BVLOS and autonomous drone programs.

The platform is designed for thai new era of the industry in which operators are moving toward larger fleets, remote operations and increasingly autonomous missions. With this shift, maintaining operational control, regulatory compliance and accountability can span thousands of flights across multiple locations and teams, the company says in its release.

FlybyOps said the platform gives enterprise operators a central operational layer connecting flights with the people, aircraft, procedures, risks, and compliance requirements behind them. Compliance is a core focus, with tools to manage operational risk, flight approvals, personnel competencies, aircraft and equipment, incidents and corrective actions, documentation, audits, operational procedures and flight histories in a structured, traceable environment.

The company said this creates an auditable operational record that becomes more important as organizations shift from manually managed drone missions to high-frequency and autonomous operations.

The platform is already in use by drone operators globally to manage and support BVLOS flight operations.

Stephen Sutton, CEO of Flyby Guys, said the operational challenge shifts significantly when moving from a handful of drones to hundreds or thousands of BVLOS flights.

"It becomes much less about managing an individual flight and much more about managing the entire operational system behind it," Sutton said in the release. "FlybyOps is being built for that transition. We want to provide enterprise operators with the compliance, operational control and visibility they need to safely scale autonomous drone operations."

The platform includes role-based access controls, multi-project operations, configurable workflows, structured compliance processes and comprehensive operational records, according to FlybyOps. The company said it is particularly suited to organizations developing drone programs in logistics, infrastructure and other industries where BVLOS operations are expected to become part of routine business operations rather than standalone projects.

FlybyOps framed the shift toward autonomous BVLOS operations as a broader transition for the commercial drone industry, saying that as regulatory frameworks, U-space infrastructure and autonomous aircraft technology continue to develop, the volume and complexity of flights managed within a single operational environment will increase. The company said it is building its platform to support that scale while helping operators establish repeatable, compliant processes now.
