As has become tradition at Commercial UAV Expo, the opening day’s conference track kicked off with the Exhibitor Showcases, during which 12 of the leading companies from across the commercial drone industry presented on their latest offerings and releases. The companies ran the gamut in terms of product offerings, with drone manufacturers, payload suppliers, software companies, and more representing the industry during the session. Below, you can find the third and final part of our recap of the presentations. You can also check out parts one and two.

Centum Research & Technology S.L

At the start of his presentation, Centum CEO Hector Estevez asked the packed room, “Who in here has a cell phone in their pocket?” As one would imagine, every single person raised their hand. He asked this to illustrate why Centum’s Lifeseeker solution is truly a life-saving product for search and rescue (SAR) teams around the world. As Estevez demonstrated in his presentation, every cell phone acts as a beacon, and Lifeseeker is designed to locate these phones regardless of network coverage in a specific area. In locations across the world, this product has already been used to expedite SAR missions across five continents. And as anyone who has worked within these situations before will know, a difference of minutes in a mission can quite literally be the difference between life and death.

DJI Creative Studio, LLC

One of the world’s leading drone hardware manufacturers, DJI Creative Studio took the stage to showcase their full line of products, featuring everything from their first DJI Dock 1 model to the latest Matrice 400 drone. Michael Li, a solutions engineer, began his presentation by explaining the timeline of their docked drone products, noting that the DJI Dock 1 marked the start of automation in 2022. Fast forward to early 2025, to the release of the DJI Dock 3, and it’s undeniable that this technology is advancing rapidly and creating value across many industries. The Dock 3 features a take-off time of 10 seconds, new RTK technology, and the ability to deploy from both stationary and moving platforms.

While these features have many use cases, Michael explained that the Dock3 has gained the most traction in the public safety sector due to its rapid response capabilities, spotlights on gimbals, and real-time voice speakers. Other DJI products showcased included their line-up of drones such as the Matrice 4D, Matrice 4DT, Matrice 4/4T, and the Matrice 400.

Warren County Community College

Longtime Commercial UAV Expo exhibitor Warren County Community College (WCCC) took part in this year’s Exhibitor Showcase by showing a video that highlighted some of the many programs the school offers for both prospective and seasoned drone professionals.  The video explained how WCCC’s WarrenUAS program is unique in that it is an accredited institution, an AUVSI Trusted Operator Training Provider, a member of the FAA CTI program, and holder of a CoW for Flight Over People and BVLOS. Moreover, the video reported, WCCC offers certificates and an AAS in UxS Systems, as well as specialized training in areas such as drone maintenance, flight planning, and aviation safety.

Silvus Technologies Inc.

Tom Bleier, director of unmanned systems sales at Silvus Technologies, offered attendees a look at how his company’s advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems can help UAVs fly in “contested environments.” Silvus’s products, he explained, are based on the company’s many years of working with military clients. He said Silvus’ StreamCaster line of MANET radios and proprietary MN-MIMO waveform can serve as a crucial communications link for UAV operations in fields such as law enforcement and public safety agencies that have to fly in difficult environments.

ACSL

Christopher Raabe presented an overview of his company ACSL, Inc. The US subsidiary of ACSL, Ltd., the firm, he explained, has grown over the past 20+ years to become Japan’s largest drone manufacturer and a growing presence in the U.S. market. Helping to fuel that growth, he reported, was the company’s SOTEN drone, a small, aerial photography-focused UAV that enables payloads to be swapped in and out with the touch of one button, and the newly upgraded TAITEN smart controller. The NDAA-compliant TAITEN has a high-resolution 7” built-in display with HDMI output, along with customizable buttons, wheels, and switches that boost its capabilities in a wide range of commercial applications.
