US-based aerospace firm WingXpand announced that it has secured several new contracts to support first responder operations, defense agencies, and other customers.
In a statement, WingXpand said that the it was selected “as one of just six approved drone providers for the State of Montana, supporting the state’s evolving requirements for secure, U.S.-built systems for its civil and public safety needs.” This selection, the company asserted, “reflects a growing national trend among state and federal agencies seeking secure, American-made alternatives to foreign-manufactured drones.”
Also, WingXpand said that it had secured “multiple new major contracts with U.S. Special Operations, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and other civil customers, marking a pivotal moment as the Nation urgently calls for American drone dominance in a shifting global landscape.” The company said that these new contracts come at time when WingXpand is increasing its production capacity “to deliver more value to customers by offering more affordable options.”
Remarking on these announcements, James Barbieri, CEO and Co-Founder of WingXpand, stated, “This is about more than drones; We’re redefining who can access highly capable robotics, proudly built in America. We’re supporting frontline teams from soldiers to first responders with trusted, adaptable tools they’ve long needed.”
