Agrowing is a company working to turn agricultural remote sensing into an automatic process from beginning to end, and they showcased what kind of a difference that can make on the farm for attendees of the 2016 Commercial UAV Expo. Agrowing is developing multispectral cameras for remote sensing with a focus on agriculture, with a 25mm lens that provides images with incredible low distortion of less than 1%.

Ira Dvir is the CEO of Agrowing, and we were able to catch up with him to chat about the product. He explains and explores how remote sensing isn’t currently working because it’s happening at too far of a distance. The cameras his company has developed are designed to identify areas where something is wrong, and give farmers the info and perspective to learn more and in turn make better decisions.
