UTM and mission management systems developer Airwayz has introduced a new version of its Dynamic UTM system. In a statement, Aiwayz said the new version includes enhancements in” automation, intelligence, and efficiency” to provide “clearer situational awareness, mitigates air risks, and reduces the cognitive workload for both airspace managers and drone operators.”

Airwayz showcased its advanced Dynamic UTM system at the recent Smart Digital Ports of the Future 2024 Conference (SDP2024) in Rotterdam

According to Yair Yosef, Co-founder and CPO of Airwayz, “With the new version of the Dynamic UTM, we’ve refined intelligence, usability, and automation to deliver real operational value — from planning and approval to execution and debriefing — while paving the way toward autonomous airspace management of the future.”

Major features of the improved Dynamic UTM include:

  • A drone database that “speeds up flight request submissions, improves UTM communication, and delivers more accurate mission statistics.”
  • The ability to replicate “recurring missions in seconds” and enable “faster turnaround between missions.”
  • Real-time updates to “active or scheduled missions without cancellation, creating smoother and more flexible operations.”
