May 14, 2025 – Teledyne FLIR OEM announced that it is collaborating with AerialOGI on the AerialOGI-N platform. In a statement, Teledyne FLIR OEM said the AerialOGI-N is “the industry’s first OGI camera module to offer two-click connection to both a handheld and drone gimbal, saving inspectors time and money while providing the ability to detect fugitive gas emissions from the ground or air.”

AerialOGI partner and founder Eric Olsen said, "The launch of AerialOGI-N marks a significant milestone in VOC detection and quantification technology. This innovative and flexible OGI module, combined with our AerialOGI Reporting Tool software, empowers gas inspection professionals to enhance inspection efficiency and reduce emissions and costs.”

Teledyne FLIR OEM stated that the platform integrates the Neutrino® LC OGI 640x512 resolution midwave infrared (MWIR) camera core, which enables the AerialOGI-N to “detect and quantify more than 25 greenhouse gases in real time, including methane and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs).”

Teledyne FLIR OEM reported that the platform is “available on seven industrial drone airframes, including the NDAA-compliant Arcsky X55, which provides an industry-leading flight time of up to 45 minutes on battery power or up to two hours in hybrid mode.”
