Teledyne FLIR has introduced four new products aimed at the uncrewed systems sector. Designed to aid in operations in field such as defense, municipal infrastructure, precision agriculture, power line surveillance, mapping, surveying, and mining, the new products include a lidar payload, camera platform, high-resolution camera, and thermal camera module.

A leader in thermal imaging, visible-light imaging, video analytics, measurement and diagnostic, and advanced threat detection systems, Teledyne FLIR showcased its new products at this week’s AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2023 in Denver, Colorado.

Here’s a look at Teledyne FLIR’s new products:

  • Optech CLS-A—a new survey-grade UAV lidar payload. The CLS-A enables the highest quality surveying and inspection applications with the tight integration of a powerful, narrow beam divergence laser, high accuracy kinematic IMU, calibrated camera and powerful post-processing software that support wide area operations at the maximum operating altitude of UAVs.

  • Forge, the next generation 5GigE camera platform, delivers the industry's fastest frame rates with burst mode at speeds up to 10Gb/s and an impressive 500 MB image buffer for managing data transfer. Sensor lineup starts with 5 to 24 MP Sony Pregius S.

  • The new Ladybug6® is the leading high-resolution camera designed to capture 360-degree spherical images from moving platforms in all-weather conditions.

  • The recently expanded radiometric Boson+ LWIR camera module line with industry-leading sensitivity and featuring both 640x512 and 320x256 resolutions.
