As we continue to gear up for the 2026 Commercial UAV Expo – we’re already inside three months away from the start of the event, taking place September 1-3 in Las Vegas – we’ve been highlighting a bit on this site and in our newsletter about the conference program, which was released last month. The content team and I will continue to share what’s on that program this year, and what will be coming in the next month or two, throughout the summer. With that said, the conference program is of course just one part of the event. I wanted to take today to highlight what is happening on the exhibit hall floor for this year’s event, for which access is available to all registrants.

Of course, we need to start with what is truly the core and biggest attraction to the exhibit hall floor: Our exhibitors. Commercial UAV Expo gives attendees the opportunity to meet with many of the leading companies and organizations from across our industry, and this year is no different. Booths are still being booked every day, but the floor is already starting to fill up with organizations from across verticals and capabilities. You can see the entire exhibit hall floor as of today here and begin mapping out all of the booths you know you’ll want to visit when you arrive. And if you’re interested in exhibiting yourself, reach out for more information.

I’m also extremely excited to highlight the content that is available on the exhibit hall floor. Just like our main conference program, the content available to exhibit hall pass holders makes up both panels and presentations, with concurrent sessions running at the Forum Theater and the Pilot Hub. The content at the former was curated by the team here at Commercial UAV Expo, while the latter was curated by our event partners at Pilot Institute.

Looking at the Forum Theater specifically, these sessions were put together intentionally with a couple of goals in mind, looking at two broad audiences under which most attendees will fall. Many of the sessions are aimed at those either just entering the industry as operators, or those looking to level up their careers. That includes sessions around insurance needs, camera skills, and building up the workforce. Additionally, there are sessions that should be interesting to those on the vendor side, including presentations around filling the gaps in the industry that exist today and learning from defense technology for commercial purposes, and those same workforce sessions will be valuable to those currently hiring.

Over at the Pilot Hub, the sessions are tailored toward exactly what the name will suggest: Pilots. This is the specialty of Pilot Institute, who have a robust online learning platform, and they are bringing that same ethos to the sessions at the Pilot Hub. With sessions ranging from broad interest like career leveling up and a session around what veterans learned the hard way, to more specific sessions like ones focused on construction sites and thermography, there is something for pilots of all skill levels and tenure.

Continuing on the theme of content, Roundtable sessions are also coming back for the second time at Commercial UAV Expo. Although these sessions don’t technically take place on the exhibit hall floor, they are open to all registrants, so it seems like a natural fit alongside the Forum Theater and Pilot Hub content. We’ll have more in a few weeks about the Roundtable content specifically, but for those who didn’t join us last year these sessions are built around peer-to-peer interaction. Each session has a broad topic with some facilitators focused on a niche within that topic, and attendees can rotate through the room and have honest, experience-driven conversations with their peers and thought leaders in the space.

Aside from that more traditional content, the exhibit hall will once again feature our Indoor Airspace area, where organizations and companies will be flying their drones and giving real-world demonstrations right on the show floor. There will be more to come on who specifically will be flying, but both training examples and operational demonstrations will be available for all registrants throughout the event in the 40′ x 50′ x 15′ netted enclosure.

The Level-Up Lounge is also coming back, once again being led by Eno Umoh. This area on the exhibit hall floor is for those who are looking to bring their organization to the next level. The Level Up Lounge will feature brand consultations from Global Air U, providing insights into an organization’s LinkedIn Profile, Website, Lead Magnet, and Marketing Materials. After growing your technical know-how with the conference programming, the Level Up Lounge is a must-visit to make sure your soft skills match what you offer in the field.

To reiterate, all of what is described above is available to all registrants, including both Exhibit Hall Pass holders and those who are joining us with a full conference pass. If you’re ready to join us in September, make sure you register today. Our Early Bird pricing runs through June 26, so act quickly!
