Aerial robotics company Voliro has announced the formation of a partnership with MontiPower to integrate MontiPower’s Bristle Blaster® and MBX® technologies onto the Voliro T aerial robotics platform.
According to a statement, the partnership will “add significant new capabilities for inspectors, maintenance teams, and asset owners across a wide range of industries.”
Integrating MontiPower’s Bristle Blaster® and MBX® tools with the Voliro T aerial robotic platform, the statement said, would enable the delivery of “certified high-quality surface treatment safely, precisely and consistently at height.” This will allow “robotic surface preparation in previously unreachable or unsafe elevated environments” and be applicable “across oil and gas, marine, renewable energy, heavy industry, and critical infrastructure assets.”
Montipower’s CEO Frits Doddema said, “Integrating MontiPower’s world-class surface treatment systems with Voliro’s aerial robotic platform allows us to expand our reach beyond ground level more readily, and deliver our same level of quality to customers with a hands-free application that protects high surfaces in a safer and more efficient way.”
According to the statement, the “integrated MontiPower–Voliro aerial surface treatment solution is expected to be available for early access in Q1 2026.”
