Emerging Opportunities for Drone Pilots

On-demand Webinar | Free

The applications of commercial UAVs are rapidly evolving - and along with them are growing and changing opportunities for drone pilots. There are broadening career paths for drone pilots that continue to expand as drone use proliferates, and jobs for drone pilots are in high demand in fast-growing industries like utilities, oil and gas, construction and infrastructure.

Some of the exciting opportunities include:

  • Construction Site Monitoring: Aerial footage provides real-time insights into construction progress, safety compliance, and productivity, facilitating informed decision-making by project managers.
  • Surveying and Mapping: Drones with advanced cameras and lidar can now more efficiently map large areas, aiding in site planning, design, and progress monitoring.
  • Asset Inspection: Drones offer a safer, faster, and more cost-effective method for inspecting hard-to-reach assets like bridges and power lines, and capturing high-resolution imagery to identify defects in complex structures such as power plants or other industrial areas.
  • Environmental Monitoring: Specialized sensors on drones monitor air and water quality, wildlife habitats, or even detect pollution caused by construction or industrial activities.

These opportunities are driven by technological advancements, regulatory changes, and a growing recognition of drones' benefits in these sectors. Join us for a webinar where new and cutting-edge career opportunities for drone pilots are being discussed.
