Jennifer Pidgen, Creator of Opportunities, Sundance Media Group

As majority owner and COO of Sundance Media Group (SMG), Jennifer is dedicated to developing sUAS/UAV training programs and strategic industry partnerships. Co-author of several UAS books, Jennifer guides agencies and organizations with sUAS program implementation. A marketing guru with over 24 years of marketing experience within the consumer electronics and photo/ video channels, Jennifer also manages large-scale training events and vendor/sponsor relationships. With a degree in finance, Jennifer focuses on building effective budget-mindful programs and successful vendor/sponsor relationships. Jennifer channels her expertise into inspiring conversations and cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships; each with a focus towards building a successful and safe sUAS/UAV community.

Christopher Todd, Executive Director, AIRT – DRONERESPONDERS

Christopher Todd is an innovator, entrepreneur, communicator, and technological-humanitarian who deploys drones and mission-critical unmanned solutions to help manage complex emergencies and disasters. A Certified Emergency Manager® and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, Chris has operated unmanned aircraft systems in a wide-variety of emergencies including aircraft collisions, building collapses, floods, hurricanes, and wildfires.

Mr. Todd serves on the command staff for the Southeast Florida Region 7 All-Hazards Incident Management Team (FL-AHIMT-7) based at the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Department in Florida.

Chris also serves as the executive director of the Airborne International Response Team (AIRT), the leading 501(c)3 non-profit organization supporting the use of drones for public safety and emergency response.  AIRT serves as the official home of DRONERESPONDERS, the fastest-growing non-profit program supporting the use of sUAS by public safety and emergency services organizations around the world.

Additionally, Chris is the president of Airborne Response, and the president of the Florida Peninsula Chapter of AUVSI. He holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Drake University, and has completed graduated work focused on crisis communications and integrated marketing communications at the Medill School at Northwestern University.

Jonathan Beaty, Director, Kiewit Geospatial Services

Jonathan Beaty leads Kiewit’s Geospatial Services group. His career expands 15+ years in the Power Generation, Power Delivery, Water, Oil & Gas, LNG, Infrastructure and Food & Beverage markets. The Geospatial Services Group supports Kiewit’s many customers and projects throughout their lifecycle across North America.

 

Eszter Kovács, Founder, DroneTalks

Eszter is the CEO & founder of Manageld and co-founder of DroneTalks.online. She is a well-known drone influencer.

As an expert in technical innovation in the drone sector, Eszter has contributed to several companies’ growth, leading complex implementations and mentoring and advising leaders on strategic planning and operational transformation. In 2020 Eszter successfully led the Global UTM association with 40 + UTM ecosystem leaders through its restructuring for six months.

From 2016 – to 2019, Eszter successfully led the GSMA Drone Interest Group, growing it from 10 mobile operator members to nearly 40 finding solutions to leverage cellular connectivity in the aviation environment. Eszter is passionate about boosting diversity; in 2020, she launched an event series, “Women Behind the Drone Revolution”, which is still running successfully intending to highlight female leaders’ activities related to drones.

Eszter holds a BA in Military & Safety Engineering from the Hungarian National University of Public Services and is currently attending Boston University’s digital leadership studies. She was born in Hungary and, having travelled extensively, resides in Bern, Switzerland.

Eszter is an expert writer in multiple drone-focused online magazines such as Commercial UAV news and Commercial Drone Professional. She is also an advisor for various start-ups such as Globhe and drone-related initiatives such as AUVSI Xponential and Commercial UAV shows.
